Catalog Item Delivery Time / Date

Hello.  I'm a little bit new to Service Catalog administration.  I successfully created a Catalog Item and associated Flow, but there are a few things I'm still confused about.  Perhaps someone could enlighten me...

I set the "Delivery time" field of my catalog item to be 4 Days 3 Hours 2 Minutes and 1 Second...

But when the user checks out, from the Platform UI, a "Delivery Time" of 2 Days is shown, as you can see here:

find_real_file.png

Q1)  I understand that this "Delivery Time"  is for the entire Request, and not just the request item, but shouldn't the Delivery Time reflect the total times of all of the Request Items included in the Request?

Q2)  Where is this "Delivery Time" of 2 Days likely coming from?

Once I complete the order, I see a column that says "Delivery Date" (instead of "Delivery Time"), as you can see here:

find_real_file.png

Q3)  Is "Delivery Date" the same thing as "Delivery Time"?  Or are those 2 separate concepts?

Q4) This seems to NOT reflect either 2 Days or my set value of 4 days 3 hours 2 minutes 1 second.  It's saying that the Delivery Date is the same day that I ordered the item.  Why would that be?

Finally, if I order the item from our Service Portal, I see the following:

Q5)  Why would the "Delivery Date" be blank here?

So.  I know that might have been a lot to take in, but could one of you Catalog gurus possibly give me some guidance on one or more of these 5 questions?  Thanks!!

Q2)  Where is this "Delivery Time" of 2 Days likely coming from?

Ans The delivery time is calculated according to the Workflow schedule.

Refer this

It is controlled via the workflow properties. Check the Schedule tab, the Expected time field.

Q3)  Is "Delivery Date" the same thing as "Delivery Time"?  Or are those 2 separate concepts?

Ans

The delivery date is the final date the requested item is delivered to you.

The delivery time is calculated according to the Workflow schedule.

Q4) This seems to NOT reflect either 2 Days or my set value of 4 days 3 hours 2 minutes 1 second.  It's saying that the Delivery Date is the same day that I ordered the item.  Why would that be?

Ans Again, The delivery date is calculated according to the Workflow schedule.

Q5)  Why would the "Delivery Date" be blank here?

Ans Maybe Catalog item is configured with proper dates, you can share your full catalog item so we can analyze.

Thanks, Pranav.

For Q1, I had seen that article before, but it didn't ring true for me, because I thought that if you specified a Flow, then execution plans would become irrelevant. But I guess that is NOT the case. I changed the Delivery Time values for the "Execution Plan Tasks" underneath the Default execution plan, and that did, in fact, get reflected in the "Delivery Time" of the shopping cart, as you can see here:

For Q2, I think it's tied back to Q1 in my case, that is, the Default Execution Plan.

For Q3 - Q4, I'm not using a "workflow".  I'm using a "flow". So not sure about those answers.  Still a little confused about "Delivery Dates" when Catalog Items are associated with a "flow".  (Flow is the way of the future, right?)

(I would share my entire catalog item, but I don't see any other Date or Time fields on it that would be relevant.)  Thanks again.
