When user requests access to application 'Argus Enterprise'
1. user must be added to the Group 'ROLE-G-Global-ARGUSEnterpriseUsers'
2. user should not be added to any other groups
3. meaning user should not be added anymore to any existing groups that currently gets added

Hi @Dr Atul G- LNG
If a user is added to another group that grants additional roles (besides the intended one), will there be any role or permission overlap? In such cases, will the system always honor the highest set of permissions across all assigned roles, or can there be conflicts or unintended access due to this overlap?
Regards,
John.

Hi @johngomes
It depends. If another group has access to that table, then the system will honor that; otherwise, it won’t. For example, if a group has the ITIL role but a user only needs access for incidents, adding the user to the ITIL group may grant overlapping permissions.
