Change Blackout Schedules automation?

Dear Community,

Has anybody succeeded in crating record producer that can create Change Blackout Schedule automatically after approval. I am not a developer and looking for simple practical guidelines, if that is possible, of course.

Greetings!!

We had a similar requirement from our client, but to be honest, it turned out to be quite complex.

In short, here’s what we did:

• We created a Record Producer to capture high-level details and made the schedule name available as a variable on the form.

• The user was then asked to provide the necessary details through that form.

• Once submitted, the user had to use another Record Producer, where we referenced the first-created schedule as the parent record.

• In that second form, the user was asked to enter the schedule entries—start time, end time, and other relevant details.

• We created multiple variables and mapped them on the backend accordingly.

It may look simple on the surface, but it was quite involved behind the scenes.
