I am looking to create a Change calendar/schedule which combines three areas; the actual Change calendar/schedule view but also want to be able view the blackout windows and maintenance window on the calendar/schedule. I was thinking this could possibly be done using a database view. What do you think? Is there any performance issues which would occur if the number of changes a month being raised went over 2000. On top of this I am looking at adding filters which the user can select based on what they want to see such as viewing only standard changes. An alternative I am looking at is the time visualization application and utilising this. I want to use as much of what is out of the cloud as possible.
If/once this has been created, I would like to be able allow end users (non-ITIL) to view the change calendar/schedule from the CMS site. This comes out of the cloud from SN but we would also like them to see some data from the Change Request. I don't want them to have an ITIL role though. Is this possible?

Active 'Windows and Changes' under Change Application. Maybe something like that?
