Dear Community members,
We are looking to get report/dashboard on tracking Change Request which had status changes. For example from "Asses" to "New". The requirement would be to see total number of changes who had status changes. Usually if Change Request is not of good quality - it is moved from "Asses" to "New" to make corrections needed.
Can you recommend what would be best way to achieve such report?
Regards,
Mantautas.

Best way for this is to use metrics. You can just report on the metrics of state change on the change table.
If my answer helped you in any way, please then mark it as helpful. If it resolved the issue, please mark it as correct.

Hello
You can create new metric definition for state change and create report on it. PFB screen shot
Here "Value" field gives different state list and "Duration" field gives time for which request remained in that state.
Kindly note that, this metrics will work on records which are changed after creation on metrics. It will not work on past changes (before metrics created) done on record.

Thanks a lot
yes, solution seems toward what we need. Appreciate your feedback a lot! However we are not looking in duration of stage, but rather we want to know for example "how many Changes were reverted from Asses to New". So every month i would look at report and get this number. This wouldallow us to track quality of changes. If a lot of changes after Asses get moved back New - means quality need improvement.
