Hi Jimmy,
Add the column to the list by clicking the Personalized icon on the list.
Then double click the column cell which you want to update.
Select the date and hit the Green checkmark.
You are done!
If you have several records to update then as Muhammad Khan suggested background script/Fix script is a way to go but it would be a bit risky as you have just started.
Please let us know how many records you are looking to update and which column and table accordingly we can help you further.

Aside than script, is there any UI icon that we can the date/time. I am still new to SN and i am using the testing instance.
