Change schedule not showing conflicts

Hi everyone,

I might be missing something. I'm looking at my change schedule module (the calendar) and it's not showing items that are outside of my maintenance window in red/maroon.

The maintenance window is set up correctly and when I hit the conflict checker on my change records, it shows that my records are outside of the maintenance window. However, when I view the change schedule I don't see any indicator that any of my changes have conflicts. The wiki says the conflicts should be a maroon color.

Am I missing something? Where should I see the indicator on the schedule that there is a conflict? We are using Fuji.

Maybe it's not active? That module points to   Timeline Pages > Change schedule. Under Timeline Page Span Styles, there should be an option for Outside Maintenance Schedule = true.

Hi Michael,

Thank you for pointing me in that direction. I did make sure that the timeline page span style was configured but that led to to the underlying issue. The condition is "outstide maintenance schedule is true" but none of my change requests have that flag as true (even though plenty have conflicts that say it is outside of the change schedule. I'll have to see what script is failing to set this flag field and I'm sure the calendar itself will just work.

Thank you

Eric, you can view/edit the Change Schedule by going to System UI\Timeline Pages and in there you will see a record called Change Schedule.   If you scroll down to the related lists you will see one where the condition is "Outside maintenance schedule is true" and it will show the changes in Crimson color.

To troubleshoot this, I would suggest going to your change list and filter for changes where "Outside maintenance schedule" is true.

If you have some where that is set to true, verify the planned start and planned end dates to the span of time you are viewing in your change schedule.   In my demo instance one that is "outside maintenance schedule" shows up in the crimson color.
