Choice fields on Child Table should not reflect on Parent table

Hello,

I have a child Table named Child-1 which extends to table "parent-1"

The "parent-1" table extends to "Parent-2".

I have a field "stage"(type: choice) on parent-2 table which will eventually inherited to child-1 table.

Now I have to add choice values on stage field which should show only on child-1 table but not on parent-2 and parent-1.

How do I achieve this ?

Is this possible in ServiceNow or do i need to create custom field on "child-1" ?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Kumar,

The quick way is to open the Child-1 form and Right click on the Stage field and select "Configure Choices". Now select the table name as child-1 and create a choice. These choices will only be available on child-1 table.
