configure an order guide based on a user profile

Afternoon all
I am currently setting up an onboarding process for a client and would like to know if there is a way to pre-configure an order guide based on a users profile?
They will need to order certain items before they start, such as uniform and equipment which will relate to the country they will be working in and the job they will be doing. This information will be in their user/employee profile. What I would like to do is sent them a welcome email which will contain a link to an order guide allowing them to confirm sizes for uniform etc. Can this be done via an order guide but instead of questions they have to answer on the first page, which then pulls in cat items to create their "bundle" it is done via info in their user profile? if not an order guide has anyone else done something similar? I don't want the email to contain several links to each cat item they need to order

If you have PDI please go through OOB order guide you will get the idea
New Hire, Add your own PDI link by removing mine.

Thanks very much for the response it has proved helpful.
I have got my order guide to the point of testing and using "try it" everything works fine and the right items have been selected for the user to then select sizes and confirm order.
On the employee portal I am only present with the first page (user, country and job variables) but no button to submit to take the user to the next section (confirm sizes for each cat item, shirt, trousers etc) I am sure it is something simple but not sure what?

Difficult to say this, can you post screenshots ? Also check How OOB order guide is setup and same you try to replicate ? I tried OOB order guide in PDI and it works well
