Connecting Child Incidents to Parent Incident's Problem Ticket

As the subject states, I'm trying to connect the Child INCs to the Parent's Problem Ticket. I can confirm the Parent Ticket is set correctly, with six Children INCs now connected from an Incident Management perspective.
I know how to manually associate INCs to PRBs but is it an option (or possibility) that when a Parent Ticket is given an associating Problem Ticket, the incident child tickets should by default be associated, correctly capturing metrics. After connecting the Parent INC to a PRB, none of the Child INCs have any connection.
I do understand however, that if a CHG is Successful and closed that is linked to a PRB, the PRB could automatically resolve the Parent INC Ticket, subsequently auto resolving the Child Tickets. I'm merely looking for a more granular pull of metrics, as I feel every problem ticket should openly display links to any related INC, even if they are "nested" under a Parent INC. I'd love to see how many INCs one PRB has directly addressed.
I'm curious to see if there's any value in pursuing this or if it's even possible to begin with. Thank you!
