How should CIM Integrate with Change?

For many initiatives as we create the phases / tasks in the CIM record, there will more than likely also need to have a Change record to account for the operational modifications.  Most of these initiatives will more than likely not follow the Standard Change model.  Appears we have a duplication?

What is the vision of ServiceNow on this integration piece?

I am not sure about CIM and Change integration but you can explore the change model for different types of changes.
