Creating a custom UI Action(UI Button) for MIM workbench

Hello 

I have a requirement of showing a UI Button in MIM Workbench

while normal UI Action wont hold true for the workbench, I came across post stating customization is limited for MIM Workbench

Is there any workaroud?
How can I configure this?

Any help will be appreciated

the page which opens up is coming from platform level i.e. "$major_incident_workbench.do"

If you are talking about that then we as admins or developers don't have access to edit anything there
