Creating Incident though other ways

Hello all,

 

If a user is not able to log into ServiceNow, what are the other ways to raise an Incident to Servicenow Team asking about their difficutly logging into Servicenow?

 

We want to build a way to login Incident when the user is not able to login to ServiceNow.

 

Please share any ideas. thank you.

User can create incident by sending email - underlying email action script - 
table - sysevent_in_email_action 
sys_id - 3ccfeff5c611227a0180144333c87af9

ServiceNow already has OOTB inbound action of type reply so that any user sends email to instance then INC is created

Incident creation via E-mail (Inbound Action)

Hi @Vijaya_Mnpram,

 

User can create Incident multiple ways: 

  • Now Mobile App - If user has already login.
  • Email - Inbound Email Action.
  • Call/Chat - Service Desk.

Apart from Manual Incident creation, incident can be created in system via

  • Service Portal ,
  • Record Producers,
  • email integration (Inbound Actions),
  • REST/SOAP APIs,
  • server-side scripting (Business Rules)
  • server-side scripting (scheduled job).
  • from Workflow/flow (script/custom action)
