Customizing the Incident form on Service Operations Workspace

How can I add the duration field on the incident record on my SOW view similar to the one one the view workbench major incident record.

Hi @Harshil3 ,

If In the 'Service Operation Workspace' The required fields are not added. you can go to Configure - Form Layout - select your view and add fields there. View is "'Service Operation Workspace'" for your requirement.

@Community Alums @Riya Verma I have the duration field added in the incident form in SOW however my question is the Duration field being on the form header like You see on the image above?

To add the "duration" field to the incident record on your ServiceNow SOW (Statement of Work) view, follow these steps:

1.  First, determine the field name for the "duration" field that you want to add to the incident record. This field should be already present in the system or might require creating a new field with the desired name.

2. Navigate to the Form Design section for the incident record in ServiceNow. This is where you can customize the layout and fields displayed on the SOW view.

3. Once in the Form Design, customize the layout to accommodate the "duration" field. Add a new field or find an existing one that you can replace with the "duration" field.

4. For the "duration" field, ensure that the data type and properties match the requirement. For example, if the "duration" field represents time, you may want to use the Time duration data type.

5. Review the changes made to the form, Save the changes to apply the new field to the incident record view.
