Can a manager designate multiple delegates for any given workflow and can a manager designate different delegates for different processes?
For example, as a manager, I want John Doe to be my backup approver for Service Catalog items.
However, I may want Mary Smith to be my backup approver for Change Management requests. Mary is really not authorized approve any new (for example) laptops for my team, however Mary understands the change requests being submitted.....thus the difference in approvals.
In addition, I may want to add multiple people as my delegate for any process. Is either of these possible?
Thank you

Unfortunately delegation functionality isn't this advanced. Its basically "all or nothing" when it comes to delegates. You can, however, add multiple delegates to a single user.

Hi Barbara,
I don't think this is possible OOB. Basically delegate user will inherit the role and they will have complete access as per that role.
More info here.
