does the demo instances of service-now changed their password and username? because I cannot anymore log in using the "admin" username and password. I'm using the instances in my service-now connector task

I know how you feel. Sometimes, folks using the instance change the admin password so that others will not be able to login. ServiceNow always uses admin and admin.
if one instance doesn't work for you - take another instance:
It's always a good practice to take a backup of your code is you are doing the dev in demo instances.
demo018.service-now.com/login.do? works for me with admin and admin.

The same issue is happening now-a-days too.....................
I have tried many demo instances. All of them showing as authentication error with username & password as "admin".

@Krishna,
ServiceNow public sandboxes with full administrative access have been deprecated.
These are shared instances and ServiceNow does not offer guarantees of availability or support on these instances.
However you can go ahead and raise a request for personal dev instance here.
