where does Discovery pickup the description field. We setup discovery and are seeing descriptions on some servers and can't figure out where they come from. I would have assumed they came from AD but there is nothing in AD matching what SN is showing as description.
some background, we had discovery setup previously and some CIs where manually added via a spreadsheet. We then wanted to start fresh so flushed the Configuration Item table and started new discoverys. is it possible the descriptions are in a differrent table and somehow are still in SN?

It is coming from Computer Description.
You can see the values on the CI's by going to Control Panel>System and Security>System; or under System Properties
