I am trying to discover a few of our Cisco IP phones on our network. I enter the direct IP and get "Alive, Not classified". Is there anything specific I need to do to discover IP phones. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Look at the ECC queue input for the SNMP probe and look for the sysobjectID. Enter that on the SNMP OID table in a new entry. Assign the desired table, an snmp classifier (maybe generic host for now), manufacturer, and model. Try re-scanning and you should see some results. I've not been able to get much from cisco phones or polycom devices, but you can at the devices to update automatically.

This video is great but what about when the ECC queue shows nothing? We need to discover Cisco IP Phones but I do not receive anything to find that sysId. I think I am asking for steps to take to get to the point where the video takes over.

A few questions
1) Have you checked the Shazzam probe to see if the appropriate port is open?
2) What returns from the SNMP classify probe when you run it against the Cisco IP Phones?
Can you show us a screenshot of what the scans look like?
