I am trying to configure a default Article Body for a Knowledge Base using the Set default knowledge field values feature.
Navigation:
Knowledge Base → Set default knowledge field values → Article Body
When I select Article Body, a field labeled "Enter text in HTML format" appears.
My expectation was that this field would accept and preserve HTML formatting, so I entered HTML containing:
1. Images
2. Headings
3. Bullet points
4. Inline styles (font family, font size, colors)
However, when I create a new Knowledge Article using this Knowledge Base, the HTML formatting is not applied as expected. Styling such as custom fonts, colored bullets, and some inline formatting is ignored.
Is this a known limitation or expected out-of-the-box behavior? If HTML formatting is not supported here, what is the recommended approach for populating a formatted default Article Body (including images, bullet points, and styling) for all articles created in a specific Knowledge Base?
