Duplicate Email Notifications Sent to Assignment Group After Yokohama Upgrade

Hello All,
We recently completed the Yokohama upgrade, and since then whenever a Service Catalog request is submitted, the assignment group receives duplicate email notifications. This behavior was not present prior to the upgrade. This issue impacted all three environments (Development, Test, Production).
The same notification firing twice from the same source at the same time.
Please assist if you have any idea on how to get this resolved, I will appreciate it.

any business rule has current.update()
what debugging did you do?
is record getting updated more than once?
If nothing has changed after upgrade then raise a case with ServiceNow.

Hello Ankur,
I have analysed the business rules, email notifications across all 3 instances and there are all same configrations and conditions as it were before the upgrade, yes twice.

if record is getting updated 2 times then email will go 2 times
you need to debug
