Hi Bandi,
This is an OOB behavior, multiple groups can provide you with the same role. I would not suggest you to write BR and customize the OOB functionality. There is no harm in user having same role given multiple time. There will be no impact on the license.

Hi Bandi,
I am able to replicate the issue in my instance. Seems like to be an OOB bug.
I would request to you to reach out to HI team and create a problem ticket.
Regards,
Deepankar Mathur
