Email Client Template - Sender Configuration

Hi,

We have defined a default From address in the sender Configuration of the Email Client template .

My doubt is that if the sender changes the from field to any other email address , will the email be sent in default email address or the changed email address?

Kindly assist

Hi,

yes, it will automatically change the email sender address accordingly with the new email address set up on the system. You can easily do a test like below:

Original Email Client From Address test@test.com

Then modify the email client from address to test2@test.com:

Email Client Template from address changed accordingly:
find_real_file.png

So the email will be sent as from the email address which user changed while sending the email and not from the default email specified in the template?

Show me your setting of tab "Sender Configuration" of the Email Client Template

The user will change the default email from here while sending. The default email address will be populated in the From field.User will remove the default address and add a new email address
