Estimated Time Delivery not working with Flow Designer

Hi All,

I used a Flow Designer for Service Catalog to build and automate the hardware process.

Everything was fine except the Delivery end Estimated Time. When user order via Service Portal the page goes to the sc order widget where Estimated Time Delivery is not calculated.

I was wondering if there is a problem created to ServiceNow including this issue?

Do you have any other advice?

Hi,

Do you mean it's not calculated at all? Or it's incorrect.

Unfortunately, I don't use flow designer all that much, but from what I'm seeing...this may be a current limitation that you're unable to set it via flow designer like you could with the workflow editor. You may want to go to the item itself (Service Catalog > Maintain items > pick record for item > add Delivery Time field to form if not there already...> edit it)...and see if the delivery time field there works in place of how it didn't...when using workflow editor. If that doesn't work...consider either re-creating the workflow using workflow editor and not flow designer...or...you could create a business rule that applies to only this item...that sets the delivery date via script.

I am currently looking into this since we also need to use Flow Designer and have Delivery Time based on catalog item using the same Flow.  It looks like Delivery Time is calculated based on the different stages

Thanks, Mary.  I was very confused by your screenshot at first.  But I see now that you were trying to highlight how to get to this, from the Flow Designer - "More Actions" menu (vertical ... menu) at the very top right, then "Stages" sub-menu (if that helps anyone).

My Flow, which is associated with a Catalog Item, does not have any Stages or States defined. But when ordered via the Platform UI (not the portal) a "Delivery Time" of "2 Days" is still shown.  Does anyone know where that might be coming from?

Hi Tomasz

Flow Designer is a Now Platformvfeature for automating processes in a single design environment. Flow Designer lets process owners use natural language to automate approvals, tasks, notifications, and record operations without coding.

https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/orlando-servicenow-platform/page/administer/flow-designer/concept...

I would suggest you to go for Workflow.
