Hey Guys
I was checking Task Table going to all the tables in system. When I clicked on "Task" , in the right side of window, all the fields associated with Task table came up.
Could you please let me know why there is different signs in front of different columns of the field and what does those signs say? I have highlighted the items in circle. Also , what is Index creator here?

Hi there,
The + sign, will be visible on Reference fields. You could click on the +, and fields under the reference field will become visible, which you also could add to the form (dotwalked fields).
Green dot are actual fields on that table.
Red square (if you select incident for example), are fields inherited from the parent table.
For index creator, read:

If my answer helped you in any way, please then mark it as helpful.
Kind regards,
Mark

Hi Ekta,
As Mark said the + sign is for Reference Field which Refer to some Tables in service-now.
If you select + sign, some more reference field will be visible to you and those fields are refer to only which are related to earlier Reference field(+Caller).
Ex. Assigned to+(consist of following different fields),
-Active
-Building
-Cost Center.
Above concept known as Dot Walking in tree pickers.
Below Link will help you to understand more about Dot Walking in tree pickers.
And the reference icon () appears by populated fields. Clicking the icon opens a read-only preview of the record.
Visit above link for more information.
Please Mark Correct/Helpful answer if it helps you.
Regards,
Kamlesh.

- Reference field icon
This is incorrect. Also see the image Ekta provided. Like "Active" and "Closed" and for sure not Reference fields.
