Force capture in Update set

Team , 

We know Group and user doesn't capture in update sets ...what if we the choose option to Force capture in Update set.

 

I mean... i am bit confused , Is that group will capture in Update set in this case ?

Ideally, Force to Capture Update set means :-

 

It manually captures the specific module to update set, if it didn't got captured while working.

 

For Capturing Group and users :-

you can try this :_

 

1.Navigate to the sys_dictionary.

 

2.Personalize the list to include the Attributes column.

 

3.Filter on Attributes is update_synch=true.



the tables which have the update_synch=true attribute will be captured.

You're correct groups and users won't be captured , but if you force a group to update set, it will add the group but not the members and roles. The best way is to move the XML of the group along with XML of sys_user_grmember and sys_user_has_role to have the entire group at destination along with roles and members.
