Hi everyone,
I have moved an update set from dev to test, while performing preview it shows an error states "Found a local update that is newer than this one" and i have found out the other update set which conflicts mine when i compared current version and update set version...most of the column are empty in current version while data are present in update set version and few data are common in both the versions.... so for this which one should i need to give either skip remote update or accept remote update to procced further...

Hi,
then if you wish to keep the local update which is newer one you need to skip the remote update and the change already present in Test instance won't be impacted

Is the new version of the configuration made by you(i mean scripted by you, or you updated it)?
If so, then please accept the remote update.
If you have no idea who made those configurations, you have 2 options:
- check the updated by person of that configuration(check with him/her if the update is intentional).
- Make a judgment, if you feel the remote update is adding something important, like an extra condition, script, then accept it.
Do not worry, you can always revert it if something goes wrong
