Recently are change manager use the global search to try and tasks related to a particular Applications. When he put the application name in only incidents appeared. So he thought that they did not submit any changes for this application and asked them why there were no changes. They returned 2 and he asked why they didn't show in the global search. I went and looked at the configuration for global search and noticed that only Incident does not have a condition of active is true. Why is that only incident task type is setup this way? What are the disadvantages of changing the config so that changes and other task types do not have the condition like incident (other the possible performance)? Will this affect contextual search on incident short descript and cause it to return closed problems as an example?
