Hi All,

I want to understand the use of these roles. Can someone help me

1.what is the use of snc_internal role. Even with this role, the user is navigated to the portal page and not to the servicenow UI.

2.To login to the native servicenow UI what is the min role required

3. If I give snc_internal and cmdb_read role, will the user have access to read all the cmdb tables?and how can he do that because he doesnt have itil so he cannot login to servicenow UI.

Hi Madhu, please check below article for base system role, https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/sandiego-platform-administration/page/administer/roles/reference/r_BaseSystemRoles.html Additional: snc_internal is primary role to use this is required to see catalog pages, cmdb_read for read access on cmdb untill you don't have any customised ACL & ITIL to have access of Inc,change etc related to ITSM application and global search. Hope this will help you
