How to be control the Knowledge access for internal vs external clients?
How are the Knowledge article visibility is controlled, is it based on user criteria or Domain? Is the user criteria define at knowledge article level or knowledge base level?for example: I have customer specifc articles in my knowledge base whics has user criteria as all actove users in the organization can view it? how do i provide access or restrict the visibility of KA's to customer so that he can only view his articles that are created for his company but he cannot view internal articles created in the KB?can we restrict articles in a knowledge base for certain groups/company?

Knowledge V3 uses User Critera on the Knowledge Base , you can have multiple knowledge bases and restrict them via User Critera , then you can also restrict it per article within the knowledge base based on Roles
To restrict an article within a Knowledge base that is open to everyone would be to restrict it via a role on each knowledge article.

what type of role is required to restrict per article within Knowledge base?is it a custom role or general role?

we created general roles for our assignment groups and then create roles for specific groups ie contractors , then you can restrict the knowledge articles based on the role.
