Hi
You need to use Order and Containers to design your catalog item.
Please let me know if I have misunderstood your question.
Thank you

Hi John,
To modify the catalog item form right click the header and select configure > form layout
To change the layout of the item in the catalog or portal you will need to change the order of the variables and add containers. The variable with the smallest order number will appear at the top
Containers allow you to implement a 1 or 2 column layout
Hope this helps
Shane

I have used Containers in the past but what I trying to do is add "Sections" on the Catalog Item form to eliminate the need to scroll to input all the data (say on a new hire request)
