How can I get "security_admin" role.

Hi Team, 

As a admin I have "admin' access but doesn't have 'security-admin' role. How can I get this role to assigned to me.

Our Support parter team members have that role, but those are not in contract with us now. so whom I  have to reach to get this role. ServiceNow support team can allocate that role to me, if I add approvals from my ServiceNow owner.

to run 'acl assement report' I need this role. 

Please help.

Hi there,

In that case, create a Support Case at ServiceNow.

Also try to learn from this situation, and think of setting up some monitoring/fallback etc.. Because you should never come in a situation where no one in your company has this role.

Hi there,

Anyone with security_admin can add that role to you, when the have elevated their role. Anyone without that role... can't add it to you. You also can't add it yourself to you.

in open your  instance and navigate to sys_user.list then open record then in record related list click edit and there you can add security admin role from the slushbucket and save .
