Hello Devi,
You can use Announcement as a Outages by setting The Announcement type to banner
Also there is a Display style which makes the Banner red you can select that to resemble more of a Outage
Hope this helps. Please mark the answer as correct/helpful based on impact.

Hi Saurav,
If we set the Announcement type to banner, the outages created in incident can be viewed here or not?
If not do we need to change the script?

Hello Devi,
A banner announcement will be visible on all the Portals in Servicenow.
You can also control which Portal you want the announcement to be visible using the below table:-
m2m_announcement_portal
Also you can control the User criteria of the Announcement to who it will be visible/

Thanks for the reply Saurav,
If we created an outage for incident, will it be displayed as announcement with the changes you told above.
I created an outage for incident and made the announcement type to banner, the displayed one is not an outage under Announcement widget.
I need to display the outages created for incident should displayed as announcement.
Shall I get any help?
