Hi,
is it possible to search a particular record from List of total records
Usually what we do for particular record in Number Column search we will mention Record number so then it will displays record if that record was available in list , as the same way can we able to search a record from ATF .
is it Possible to search by ATF

Hello Chanikya,
In order to achieve exactly what you explained: finding a record by record number if it exists in the respective table -> you may use 'Record Query' step by selecting the appropriate table and then adding a 'Condition' such as: Number | is | PRB0040029 (taken from your screenshot example).
Make a short test to check this out by creating 3 steps:
- Impersonate to an itil user;
- Run Record Query against Problem (problem) table by adding the condition I mentioned above;
- use Open an Existing Record step against Problem (problem) table and selecting Steps 2: Record Query > First record;
You may also use Form step 'Open an Existing Record' and specify the record there by number and selecting the respective table first. For references in regards to this approach (Open an Existing Record, without 'Record Query') please review the OOB ATF test, called: "Open an Existing Record".
Cheers, Chanikya!
