There is always a "Waiting for Approval" stage on all requests (even when there isn't). How can I dynamically hide this?
Also, when there is an approval, there is a blank stage after the "approved" stage. Why is that? I've searched the forums, but everything I saw wasn't a complete fix. Please help.

I don't know why, but I found that if you remove the "Waiting for Approval" stage from the Workflow, then the blank one goes away.
Not sure how to make it go away completely.

Resolution
"There is always a "Waiting for Approval" stage on all requests (even when there isn't). How can I dynamically hide this?"
As per Service now -->
For workflows that don't require approval, add an approval action on the workflow. This will set the first stage to "Approved" which removes the "Waiting for Approval" stage.

The blank stage is a little annoying. I have an item that requires approval, so I need to leave the "waiting for approval" stage active on the approval activity. Guys - please let me know if you have found a way around this. I know this was just posted last week, but any ideas are appreciated.

You shouldn't be seeing a blank stage ever. If you do, something you've customized is not correct. Review your customizations and compare to the Wiki instructions to see what may be missing. Can you provide more info here to show us how your implementation is different?
