How to add a dropdown field with "Multiple" select?

I need to add a dropdown field and it has 4 choices - say a, b, c, d.

And user should be allowed to choose "multiple" choices.

And this field should be a "Reportable" field.

Okay.

This is fine.

I have done this and working fine.

And May I know what is "reportable" means.

Because this is a requirement I received and I am not sure what is this means.

I guess the ability to report on that field(For ex-adding filters on that field in your report)
