Need to add "additional comments" field to approval email notification. How can this be achieved?
Thank you.

Hi,
I'm a bit confused by your post, but you can edit the template and add the comments to that then instead of directly in the notification message field like so (example):
I don't know what you mean by:
"tried deleting the script "Approval for Additional comments: ${sysapproval.comments}" several times but after updating, it shows up again and I am unable to successfully delete this field."

Hi,
You'd want to locate the approval comments notification (System Notification > Notifications) and then in the "what it will contain" tab, you can add this field:

Thanks Allen.
This is helpful however, I noticed that adding this field disabled the "email template" when I "Previewed" the notification. I tried deleting the script "Approval for Additional comments: ${sysapproval.comments}" several times but after updating, it shows up again and I am unable to successfully delete this field. What do you recommend? I am only trying to add the new field but not make it the only field in the notification.
Does this mean i have to choose between using a template or a "message" under "what it will contain"?

Thank you. What i mean is i tried taking out the comment from the message field and it just won't update. Instead, the comment field keeps returning after clearing the message field and updating it. Very uncommon but would look into why its not deleting. I appreciate your prompt response.
