Attachments are stored and associated to the record itself, not the comment.

Hi Elijah,
we can attach images to the incident and that will reflect on the activity log but that will not be informed to the caller right?
things added in addl comments only will be sent to the caller so I want to add or attach images or screenshots to the addl comments which will trigger a notification mail to the caller.
In this case how can I add the screen shots only to addl comments rather than adding them to incident form?
