How to attach images on additional comments (journal field)?

Hi Kevin68,

 

We can add images to attachment for that please save image in local system and follow below steps 

To attach images to additional comments (journal fields) in ServiceNow, follow these steps:

  1. Open the record or task that you want to add an additional comment to.

  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the record and locate the journal field.

  3. Click on the journal field to open it.

  4. Click on the paperclip icon in the toolbar of the journal field.

  5. In the pop-up window that appears, click on the "Choose File" button.

  6. Navigate to the location on your computer where the image is saved, select it, and click "Open".

  7. Once the image has been selected, it will appear as an attachment in the pop-up window.

  8. If you wish to add additional comments to the journal field, type them in the text box provided.

  9. Click on the "Attach" button to add the image to the journal field.

  10. Once the image has been attached, you can click on the "Save" button to save the additional comment with the attached image.

sorry vijay, I didn't get you.

 

open journal field means? configure dictionary right? (3rd point)

adding the attachment on the dictionary page of addl comments?

please explain this?

This can be done by directly adding the image using the paper clip icon on the incident or task form itself.
