How to change appointment limit for Walk-Up Location

I am in a sandbox configuring Walk-up Experience for exploration and my test location is not able to book more than five appointments. There does not seem to be a setting to change this that I can find after pouring through SN documentation, the internet, system properties for Walk-Up and Appointment Booking, and the location and booking records themselves.

How do I change the appointment limit?

Hi @Monica11

Did you check this documentation:

https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/tokyo-field-service-management/page/product/field-service-managem...

I guess the session "Appointments per window" could help you to define the # of appointment.

based on new entry on wu_appointment table to check if your location is able

Good day!

Thank you for the inputs. I have read through all of the walk-up documentation for San Diego (our version for a short while longer). The appoints per window defaults to one though I did change to two during my testing around with it. This defines the number of appointments that can be booked for each appointment time slot (window). Example, if I have windows at each hour, 8a, 9a, 10a, etc., with a setting of 2, there can be two appointments available/scheduled for each; so 2 at 8a, 2 at 9a, etc. If the setting is 1, then only one appt at a time. With 3, then 3 at each slot and so on.

SOLVED: Taking a look again this morning, after some needed sleep, :), I found the cause. This "max appointments" message appears when a user tries to schedule another appointment. This is a configurable value by location that prevents users from scheduling more than the permitted appointments. Something to consider during configuration and process planning in the event it is expected a significant number of users will have more than one reason to visit.
