Hi,
I have a field of "Type of Service Request" on service portal and values contain in "Type of Service Request" are:
New Web Page
New Web Page Item
Web Page Content Update
Asset Upload/Update
Change of Webpage Layout/Design
Change of Navigation Structure
Change of Web Page Ownership
Consultation
Others
So, here what i want to do is : There is another field under "Type of Service Request" and the filed name is "URL of intranet page" so this should be visible only when the "Type of Service Request" field values will be as follows:
Condition - "If Type of Service Request = Web Page Content Update or Change of Webpage Layout/Design" and same should be reflect in RITM form and Catalog task form.
Please help me out.
Thanks,
Raghav

Hi Raghav,
If I understand this correctly, you have a field on the portal widget which is a drop-down. Based on the selection of this drop-down you want the visibility of another field to be controlled?
Please let me know if this is what you are looking out for?

Vismit

Hi Vismit,
Your understanding is correct.
For more in detail -
Suppose I select "Web Page Content Update or Change of Webpage Layout/Design" from drop down then there is a field name "URL of intranet page" so this should be visible and same should be reflect in RITM form and Catalog task form.
Thanks,
Raghav

If it's simply on the RITM and CTASK, why not go for a UI Policy?
I was thinking it to be a custom widget

yes, you are right it. I too was thinking for UI policy but the problem then occur is it runs on service portal but when we open RITM the field "Type of Service Request" also get vanished.
So, is there any other way to d so.
Thanks,
Raghav
