Shweta, hi. i see you have found a solution. i can propose an alternative if you need to make this integration again. you may use a connector, like zigiops, to handle the entire integration process for you. it's faster and easier, compared with the traditional way of connecting the systems.

To configure ServiceNow to Jira integration through REST Message API, you can follow these steps:
Create a REST API endpoint in Jira.
Create a REST message in ServiceNow.
- Define headers and parameters.
- Validate the REST message.
- Test the integration.
I have been using Exalate for this and honestly it makes it a breeze. You can configure it as you like.
