How to convert an incident to a service request

Hi,

We have a feature, if the users sends an email to ServiceNow, then automatically incident ticket will be created. But some of these incidents will be managed as Catalog Task instead (i.e we want to convert it to Service request)

Can you be more specific?
Which incidents do you want to create as task or request, will this be automated, or you are looking for some kind of UI action to achieve this.

Hi,

There is OOB Ui action 'Create Request' on incident form clicking on which will create REQ, go through that once. Mark my answer as correct if that helps.

The OOB UI button 'Create Request'  is not working for me. Is there any other to achieve same.
