How to create (link) a Catalog Item from a Portfolio Business Service (Offering)?

Hi all!

Is it possible to create a Service Catalog Item directly based on a Business Service which is defined in the Service Portfolio?

I have understood how to simply set up an independent Catalog Item, but in doing so I saw no opportunity to "inherit" a Catalog Item from a Service Portfolio.  How is this link made?

Many thanks in advance for your support!

Cheers,

Steve

Hi Steve -

The service owner can create a catalog item directly from a service offering when the offering is in a Catalog-Operational state.  In Paris, the service owner will also be able to associate multiple existing catalog items with their service offering.  These are both part of Service Owner Workspace functionality.

Is this as well working in Quebec?
Can't see it.find_real_file.png

@Christoph Stühmer: if you see the related list to add catalog items to the service offering. This is m2m table "sc_cat_item_subscribe_mtom" which holds Offering vs catalog item mapping.

Thanks

There must be a solution for this.
I cannot believe, that we cannot see in ServiceNow for what Offerings Catalog Items are for?
