How to delete field from Available field in form layout?

Hello,

How to delete field from Available field in form layout?

I created filled but mistakenly I select wrong field type so I want to delete this field so how can I  delete from available list?

Hi,

you can delete that field from dictionary.

Configure the field dictionary and then delete the field

You can't delete a field from the form layout However, you can delete a field from the from Dictionary records 

Right-click the field label on the form and select Configure Dictionary. Click Delete Column in the form header, and then click OK.

Hi, 

You can delete the field, but make sure that there is no data stored in that field because it results in loss of data..

If there is no data then delete it(refer below screenshot) if there is data then just remove from the form(attached screenshot for the same)

For Deleting the field

1. Open the form, go to the field which you want to delete, right click on it, click on configure dictionary.

2. Click on delete column

For Just removing the field from Form, instead of deleting.

1. Open the form, right click on the header, go to form design and just click on "X" icon for the field which you want to remove.

This will help in no data loss

Right click on the field > Configure Dictionary and use Delete option.
