Hi,
We have recently upgraded our testing instance with production instance. So few extra notifications were added to the testing instance after the upgrade. I was able to inactivate few notifications which are in global but few of the notifications which are in scoped applications, I am unable to disable even after being in the same scope. It is saying that the security rules are not allowing to update and the notifications are also read only. few applications are in scoped application which is not available in my instance.
Please help me disabling the notifications.
Thank you.

Hi @satya30
This means we can't disable those due to system constraints. Please log a case with the Now Support team.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

Hello @satya30
First see what these notifications are about then do verify is this something new feature provided by ServiceNow if useful then utilize it. If this clashes your client instance process, then you will need to deactivate them. Now try to deactivate them in lower instance as upgrade process has been already done in lower instance so do these changes get it captured in updateset and then move to Prod.
If deactivation of notification is not working with message as stated by you then this cannot be done by normal admin it might require ServiceNow folks intervention, raise a HI Support case get it deactivated but again if this is really needed then proceed with it. Try to consult with your architect in this before taking any decision.
If my response has helped you hit helpful button and if your concern is solved do mark my response as correct.
Thanks & Regards
