Hi Ram,

Use the following code in your Business Rule

//Change the gliderecord variable as per need

var gr = new GlideRecord('incident');
gr.addEncodedQuery('active=true^category=hardware^ORcategory=software');
gr.query();
while (gr.next()) {

//do something

}
