How to make a portal and its widget available for public without login?

I need to create a portal and add catalog items as link to it and they should be available public---> without login a user should be allowed to see the portal, submit the request for catalog item.find_real_file.png

 

 

Above 3 links are 3 catalog items and these widgets are available to users without login also.

But if they click on it, it is asking them to login.

The requirement is to users without login also should be allowed to submit the request.

In your catalog item record, First, check if there is any User criteria as SNC External in Not available for related list. If it's there remove that, your issue will be resolved. If it's not there then follow the below procedure

1.) Create the User criteria as per your requirement by following the below link

2.) In your catalog item record go to the "Available for" related list

3.) Open and click Edit to choose the User criteria you created, select from the slush bucket and save

1.) Make sure you have defined user criteria(for external users)

Role: snc_external should be defined in user criteria

2.) Associate the user criteria in your catalog items "Available for" related list

I believe there's already a user criteria in OOTB for sc_external users, If you can find it just associate it to your catalog item

Open respective widget in Navigation.

and check Public
