How to make the default filter read-only in slushbucket?

I have added a default filter in the slushbucket of problem form through list control. To overcome end users changing the filter I want to make the filter read-only/ hide .. how can I achieve this?

There is no OOB way to achieve this, you will have to resort to DOM manipulation as per the different community posts that I have come across, which is not recommended.
