Hi there,
XML is actually not a way for this.
See what Maik shared. You have to capture the Dashboard and it's components in an Update Set. This isn't done automatically, though there's a UI Action for this.
Again, XML: No. Because then you are missing all related components for the Dashboard.

Hello Lalitha,
To move a Dashboard from one instance to another you can use the update set however to capture the dashboard and it's component in the update set you need to use the Unload Dashboard.
