How to switch to a dashboard as a landing page using the Polaris/ new experience UI?

Hi We just turned on Polaris on our instance.
Some of our users still use homepages which where previously easliy te be set as a landing page for the user.
The user was able to switch between homepages or dashboards but in Polaris this option is no longer available (or at least at our instance) so that is no longer possible.
I've been searching for options in docs.servicenow.com but did not find anything that really offers a solution.

Is the a way to active this again in Polaris or make it simple to switch in any other way?

Hi Jacob 

There is a system property which enables users to select their start page. Homepages, however, have been phasing out for many years, as such, there is no option to select those. 

Have a look at the picture below for what is available. If this is something you want, you simply need to enable a system property (if it doesn't exist, create it): 

Name: glide.next_experience.user_selected_landing_page_enabled

Value: true

Results can be seen while the next experience is on under the user preference section:

Please also note. If you also do not have the 'Turn off next experiences' toggle for users, this is enabled by "glide.ui.polaris.on_off_user_pref_enabled".
